The Shire of Manjiimup, Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions, Department of Local Government Sport and Cultural Industries and the Pemberton Visitor Centre are collaborating to develop a Trails Master Plan for the Pemberton Region. The Master Plan will cover non-motorised trails in the Region including walking, running, mountain biking, cycling, horse riding and canoeing/kayaking. Common Ground Trails have been engaged to deliver the Master Plan.
The project team invite you share your ideas for strategic trail planning in the Pemberton region through this mapping tool.
There are three elements to this survey
1. Trail Use Survey
This short survey will take about 7minutes and will tell us about you and how you currently use trails in the Pemberton region.
2. Existing Trails
Click on existing mapped trails to complete a short survey on trail condition and experience
Add marker/s to the map to identify trail issues
3. Trail Opportunities
Add marker/s to the map to identify:
- Mountain bike Trail Opportunities
- Cycling (road/gravel) Trail Opportunities
- Equestrian Trail Opportunities
- Walk / run Trail Opportunities
- Paddle Trail Opportunities
You will need to fill out your email when you place a marker, but you only need to do this once by selecting 'remember me'. Personal information collected will only be used to moderate responses.
Please give as much information as possible when you place a marker. If there is already a marker on the map, you are able to add additional comment and information as well as like the trail or idea.
Please note the potential trails and facilities identified through this survey will not necessarily be constructed, but will inform where there is demand for trails. The information gathered will be used in assessing trail opportunities across the region and trail user types.
Thank you for your contribution to the Pemberton Trails Master Plan
